This site has been created as a reference for anyone who would like to know more about the Western Massachusetts Credit for Life organization.  Most importantly, it has been designed to share information with the supporters, teachers, volunteers and the students we are dedicated to serving.

Initially, Credit for Life provided financial literacy for the high school students in Springfield and Holyoke.  Most recently, students from Easthampton, Chicopee, West Springfield and other local communities have joined in the fun!  In fact, we’ve grown so much, we now host 2 events — 1 at Springfield Technical Community College and the other at Holyoke Community College!

The program is amazing!  It presents the attendees with real-life decisions to be made based on their arbitrarily assigned credit score and career choice.  Students quickly learn through these role-playing examples how to budget their money so they can pay their bills on time and establish and maintain good credit — the foundation of a solid and financially stable future.

Please reference the links on this site for more details on our upcoming fairs, as well as attendee, volunteer and contributor information.

My name is Tara and I am the School-to-Work Coordinator for South Hadley High School – I was made aware of your program through a community contact, Carol Bright. I am very interested in taking a group of students to one of your Credit For Life fairs that are coming up in April in the Western Mass area.

Please let me know the steps that I need to take in order for this to happen.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
